Edit: ordered some Pachmayr Rosewood grips and cold blued the bare metal parts of the slide and where a previous owner drilled divots in the frame and filled with a red/sparkled nail polish for some damn reason.

I won this gun a couple of weeks ago. It has since replaced my bulky, low capacity Walther PPS .40 S&W backup pocket pistol. I’ve ran through two hundred rounds so far with no malfunctions and it is a surprisingly soft shooter for its size.

Never won a gun before, but I’m pretty happy with this little thing and it is my new daily deep cover backup pistol.

Thanks, SIG.

New Optics Ready 2.0.
Got a sale on my FDE 2.0 that I don't care for and while it won't cover this completely, its a start.
Love the flatter trigger compared to the hinged POS of the OG 1.0 and 2.0's. Not as good as an APEX kit but good enough, dry firing at least.
Want to try out the Primary Arms Holosun with the circle and chevron in green sometime.

Would really love a 5" version of this, but it is LEO only.

I don't understand why companies do this. SIG does the same for their "professional" series apparently. Why not label it as an LE model and still sell it to everyone? Probably get even more sales that way.

Qualified professionals are the only ones professional enough for such optioned pistols. :)
I dont mind the core series but the leo 5" looks great.

@MeatBag

Nope, not yet.  Currently have an issue with my right wrist.  Once that's healed, it'll be off to the range!  Then it can play with the rest of its new family.

I remember really liking these when I've handled them in stores. Shame they're not more popular.

Picked up one of the blem B&T MKII.  Not sure where the blem is as I never found anything.  Swapped in a MWS trigger kit and that was a complete failure.  Kept getting light primer strikes no matter what ammo I tried.  Went back to the stock trigger springs.

SA trigger is just fine.  Better than some pistols I've bought.  DA is different for me as I never fire DA with anything else.  The SIG is my second DA/SA decocker pistol.

Mags are more expensive than M&P, XD/XDM, or most CZ/Mecgar.  About the same as new FNS mags.

Doesn't shoot my usualy 9MM hollow point loads very well.  Did find a 115 grain FMJ load with Green Dot powder that did pretty well.  I'm wondering if the Green Dot would make the hollow points shoot better groups in the pistol.

RDO slide cut and refinish.  Now just need the small frame parts to match the silver.

I had 1/2 of this for a while, but the stamp just cleared for the upper.

Volquartsen frame and bolt with a TacSol integral upper.

One high school friend of mine bought a 39 used in the early 70's.  He sold it to another high school friend of mine who still has it.  I've told him repeatedly through the years that if he ever decides to get rid of it, I want first dibs on it.  50 years later, I still want it.

This handgun is not exactly new - has a few months BUT it is new in this configuration.
Upgraded many things - lights, barrel, slide cut (didn't buy the handgun with an RMR cut, it was whole) AND RMR.

I'll be running this suppressed as well as a daily carry

It's really a nice piece of gear in this configuration
