It was a good week
 Ordered the wrong damn grip module so it won't work with a TLR-1.  Got the right one on order but it shoots great as-is.  "Only" took three months but I finally got it! Fitted up a Mk III ambi safety, made sure it was properly sprung (hammer and recoil), put on some Hogue G10 grips. Shot it today and was reminded why the Hi Power was my first love of handguns. |

Had my eyes on a parked Loaded for the past few months; but much to my dismay Springfield discontinued the non-CA compliant model last month.
Managed to find one on Saturday morning. Only thing I don't like is the FLGR-I already have a bulletproof GI assembly on the way from Wilson.

75D PCR worked over by CZ Custom. Also added Dawson fiber optic front/blacked out rear sight, Lok thin roughneck grips in FDE. Shoots beautifully, and lighter than my P07 to boot.

I was surprised, too. My suspicion is that replacing the thicker rubber grips on the PCR with thin G10 grips shaved a couple of ounces off and that was the difference.

I posted this in the Sig thread, but figured that I’d share this here as well. Just installed the G10 grips, SRT kit, and a Superstrut with a reduced power hammer spring.

Two from one. I've wanted a Brownells 19L slide for my Gen 3 G19. My son gave me the slide for Christmas, then I put my G19 slide on the Dagger frame I got on sale.

Picked this 3913TSW 9 Tactical up this morning at a gun show. Been looking for one for quite awhile in good condition. This one has no wear or rub marks to speak of. Not sure what the deal is with the blue grips, But already have set of new black grips ordered. Came with one mag only, no box. Paid $544 OTD, which I thought was a pretty damn good price. Put a couple mags worth of ammo thru it this evening, shot great.

PD trade-in Les Baer UTC. Picked up this evening. The finish seems to be wearing off/getting a patina and seems like it was carried a lot but surprisingly looks like wasn't shot much at all.

Sold my P320 AXG I just got to fund this.
Didn't want to get rid of the 320 without firing it, but this 1911 just popped up and I wasn't going to let it get away. 9mm Valor Commander. OG Valor is best Valor.  |

Ghost Gunner II. Overkill but it does a nice clean job of it. The G23 slide I ordered from Urban Survival Arms never shipped, six weeks now and they aren't answering my emails. I notified the bank and got the charge-back started. Meantime I ordered a slide from JSD and they shipped already- should be here later this week. I should be able to finish assembly and test fire it as soon as I can get to the mountains. |
