He bought the Colt in 1962 from his brother in law. Interestingly, his brother in law carried this gun in Chicago in the 1920's and 1930's. One day he was shooting this very gun at a members only gun range, looked to his left, and saw Al Capone and some cronies doing a little pistol practice of their own. Immediately went back to minding his own business. Interesting times in 1920s Chicago........ |
