Might as well put in a pic of some of my AR's and 1911's. Second 1911 from the left is an original 1911 made in 1918. It is blued not parked, is Colt marked and has not been rebuilt. The 1911 on the far right is a Series 70.

My current collection.  Still waiting to get a Colt, and a Springer at some point.

Don't ask why I have ended up with just Kimbers and DW's, they are all deals that just fell in my lap.

From the left to right/top to bottom:

Kimber Eclipse 10mm - Dan Wesson Razorback 10mm

Kimber Custom II - Dan Wesson Patriot

Kimber Compact series I - Dan Wesson Panther

All I got to show is a Kimber Pro Carry, well-worn (but doesnt show in the pictures for some reason).  There is NO finish left on the leading edges of this gun......

Left side.....

Right side (bad lighting but it makes the engraving come out)

My Wilson CQB Compact - this was a gift from a board member (MCO119) when I returned home from Iraq a few months ago.  A great friend of mine and the one who introduced me to arfcom.  Pretty sweet coming home present!

And this is the whole gang - well, pistols.  Wilson on top, Kahr PM9 in the middle, and Sig P228 on the bottom.

Definitely some nice 1911s out there!

I'm a 1911 junkie, too.  Have a few of them --- these are ones I've taken pics of so far:
