I was looking for a newer 40 cal gun to shoot up some of my ammo stock and found a contract over run 2.0 in 40 with 3 mags and fact night sights . it should be here today also picked up 3 more mags . I will pack it in black leather Desantis or Kramer open top rig. I did have the older MP 40 and never had any problem with it .

Oh teh noes...you bought a .40... brand new even?

OK GD nonsense off.

.40 is a great round and the M&P was designed around it. You wont go wrong with good quality leather like Kramer or Desantis

I could not acclimate to the M&P and sold mine but you have a nice gun coming.

I can not tell you maybe they went with 40 then changed to 9 instead, I have the late date older MP in 9 it was a L/E contract gun , they have a different SKU number . I got it today wiped it down and relubed here and there , got my black Kramer open top belt holster out and seems good to go .

The gun shops can not even find the SKU s on this gun and the MP/ full size in 9 I have has fact night sights 3 mags and this one has a fact flat black PVD type finish . I know the 9 is cheaper to shoot and has improved . but a good 40 cal Gold Dot or HST is better . 165 or 180 gr

I ran the sku 11519 and its L/E guns are looked at closer fired a few more rounds , 3 mags , night sights all updates .

I'm curious which agency already picked up the 2.0. Mine was one of the earlier agencies to adopt it and to my knowledge, they haven't even looked at starting to test the 2.0.

I got to run about 50 rounds of mixed ammo to night and it never missed a beat , ran great . I have the plain med rear grip on it and my finger is just right on the trigger . it is a little rough on your skin but I think you will just get used to it . I like it .

The 2.0 is a great gun; it's unfortunate it's somewhat in the shadow of the P320 and to a lesser extent the FN509.

I haven't heard of any departments going with it yet.

I think you are right about it taking a back seat to the Sig 320 . I think some dept will just get in the newer gun as classes start . You are not hearing any news about a change to the new Smith 2.0. its all Sig 320 in 9mm

I went to the range yesterday and rented a 2.0 9mm, PPQ, and VP9. The 2.0 was my favorite of the three.

The PPQ was nice, but I felt like it had a good bit more felt recoil than the others.

The VP9 is nice, I just liked the 2.0 better. I really wish the VP9 held more than 15 rounds.

I just went up back to my range and ran a box of 170 gr Brass Max and the 2.0 in 40 cal ran great and was dead on . This gun came with 3 mags and I just got 3 more from gulf State like new not a mark on them for 35 bucks for the bundle they all fed and locked the 2.0 40 gun flawless .

Well the 2.0 took a back seat to a new Savage Recon AR , I liked the new wave look and some of the features of it I put a Weaver Tactical 1.5x6 scope and Leopold mount on it its been flawless it was pretty dry out of the box I looked it over and relubed and it has been good to go . That 2.0 in 40 will come out this week end

I just ran 60 more out of the new 2.0 L/E 40 cal never missed a beat alum case 165 gr and some Gold Dot 165,and got another 3 fact new mags for 33/3 from Gulf State Dist . gun came with 3 and bought two mag bundles now have 9 all good to go .

How much? I just got an FNS40 and Steyr M40A1 with the .40weak discount. $360 all in for the FN with 3 mags and night sights. $370 after my $50 rebate from Steyr for the M40A1. They're? both easy to shoot with seemingly less recoil than my only other 40 to this point - a 226 which I picked up the barrel for after buying it in 357SIG.
Steyr trigger is very good but a weak/inaudible reset (short though so I never have an issue). FN trigger is decent and better than my m&p9, m&p45, or shield 9....about on par with G26.

I got this new 2.0 L/E package in 40 cal 3 mag, night sights for 349 plus 3 more mags for 33 bucks and 5 shipping . Its been flawless shoots dead on . I know the L/E line be it Smith or Sig get a better look over before sent .
