Keep a little oil on it if you pocket carry.  This is after just a couple days of hot summer in a pocket holster.   Sweat can do a number on the finish.

Maybe that all depends on how deep the bluing goes?  I carried an old pre-36 Chiefs Special* everywhere for years, including mowing the lawn, and never saw rust like that.

*In an Uncle Mikes #36 IWB holster.

I have not had any luck finding a moon clip holder like that one in your photo... Blade Tech made some, but it appears they do not anymore.

Where might a guy pick one of those up today?

I had a pair of 442-2s that I carried in my boot.  I sold both when the Glock 43 came out.

Round guns are obsolete.

My 342PD, loaded with Gold Dot or Golden Saber, in a Galco pocket holster, Spyderco Delica and Surefire Backup. It's my sometimes carry setup and my always yard work carry setup

I grab this when I run to the corner store

Isn't the 642 hammerless?

Yep, that would be a 637 with the hammer...
