...and what's a good price?  Almost bought one at my local Academy.  They have it listed for $479.

Never owned a CZ, but really liked the size and feel of it.  Thanks.

I bought one last month and I really like it.  I'm having the sights customized right now, and once it gets back I want to start carrying it.  Magazines are expensive, but supposedly CZ75B mags work as well, so those are probably what I'll use for practice/competition.  CZ Custom and Cajun Gun Works offer aftermarket parts for them.  Sight options are limited, hence why mine is off getting worked on.

$479 seems a little high; I paid less than that after tax.

I've been wondering this also.

My LGS has had one on the shelf since 2014 (date is on the tag).  Previous conversation indicates I could get it for cost so they could get rid of it.  $375-400 + tax worth it?

If you do your own work on your guns you'll find CZ's are very easy to get parts for.  Check out CZ USA or CZ Custom or Cajun Gun Works.

You can buy any factory part except the plastic frames for the P07/P09.  The P07 and P09 do not have the metal frame rails molded into them like some plastic framed guns - so you can buy, and replace those if you ever found it necessary.

I've not yet had anything break on my P07 or P09 but I've bought many of the small pins and springs and spare ejectors, extractors, etc.

So far my P07 and P09's are as reliable as my Glock and XDM handguns and more reliable than my M&P handguns.

So far my P07 and P09's are more accurate than my Glock, XDM and M&P handguns.

Yes, magazines cost more.  If you get a P07 and want higher capacity magazines think about using the P09 magazines.  My .40 S&W P07 magazines hold 12 rounds each.  The .40 S&W P09 magazines hold 15 rounds.  I don't buy P07 mags. these days.

I've heard good things about CZ's customer service but I haven't had to use it yet.

I have 2 P07's (1st gen) and a P09, worth every penny.

My former roommate had one for a little while.  It's basically a DA/SA G19.  Roughly the same size/weight, just as soft shooting, stupid reliable...  If I wasn't such a fan of striker guns, I would undoubtedly be carrying P07s.

91086 is the stock number for the 2nd gen P-07 and is the one to look for.

Make sure you are looking at the newer version. It is worth the extra $50 for the metal sights and improved hammer and trigger.  75B mags work in it.  If you like hammer fired guns it is a great choice.  David

Great gun, I have a 75 and a P09, and they are flawless.  When the P07 came out, I shot one and it was the most accurate compact 9mm I had ever fired.

I think very highly of mine.  Of the CZs, I also like the looks of the P-07 the best.

The new generation P07 and P09 might be the best value in handguns at the moment.

I had a P07 for a while and the width difference over a G19 was noticeable and the sharp angle at the rear of the butt made it print more for me. YMMV.

The P-07 and P-09 series of pistols are great handguns OP. As stated in a previous post it's probably the very best value of the polymer pistols currently offered. I love them but I like CZ's P-01 model just a bit better for EDC. So that is what I carry every day. I get all of my spare mags HERE from Greg Cote LLC. I've got the 2 factory CZ (14) round P-01 mags and (8) of the Mec-Gar branded 75 Compact extended, (16) round mags that work perfect in the P-01 with the flush mag extensions. Mec-Gar is the OEM magazine manufacturer for CZ pistols. They are roughly 60% of the price of the CZ "branded" mags and are just as reliable. I carry the Mec-Gars everyday fwiw...

I have a few CZ's. I gave my P09 40 to my son a LEO. Here is a picture of my P07 Duty with a CT laser. A very accurate gun.

Thanks for all the info fellas.

Not like I "need" another pistol.  Just something about it is reaching out to me.  It fit my hand well and pointed naturally.  Plus, I don't yet own a CZ.

I'll say this, a couple years ago, I had just bought an SP2022.  On a whim, I walked into the pawn shop and they had a nice used P-07 for $350.  I asked to hold it, I instantly regretted buying the Sig.

Will mags and holsters for the old P07 Duty fit the new P07?

P07 is on my list. As well as a few other CZ offerings.

Cost on the current gen P07s is a little over $400 (wholesale), so any price under $500 is a deal.

CZs are HKs for fiscally responsible people.

Mine has the CGW Pro kit and cz threaded barrel.  It is a joy to shoot.  SA pull is under 4lbs and crisp, reset is short.  Accuracy is amazing.  It's actually screwed my gun shopping up, because there aren't really any 9mm pistols I want to own that are any better at anything than this 'budget' CZ.

It's the size of a G19 and shoots better than a tuned G35 with KKM 9mm barrel.  It runs great with a can.  It looks sweet.  If you like hammer fired guns and aren't into CZs yet you're doing it wrong.

Yes they are interchangeable. Also P09 mags work but stick out a little. and CZ75 mags also work but you may get a little play in them.
The P07 is a peach to shoot.

I bought a P-07 Duty about two years after they first came out, no issues. ran every ammo I had and the Omega trigger was wonderful, almost too light. Great ergonomics, I also had a gen3 Glock around the same time and kept wondering why Glock couldn't figure out what CZ seemed to get in terms of ergonomics. I also liked the controls, large enough to operate with gloves but didn't stick out too much. In wintertime it was my favorite shooter. Would have kept it but had to let something go and it was either my CZ 97B or the Duty. I keep hoping one day CZ will come out with a P-09 in 10mm. I think I bought mine new from Academy for $399 and they went up to $450 soon after that, If they're still under $500 I'd say that's a good price.
