Stechkin APS, although I doubt I could afford one. I fired a nice example with the holster stock, and it was epic. I would purposely go into the situation fictionalized in the 1999 movie, Virus, just to get one. lol

Haha *technically* a pistol. A machine pistol at that.

The age old full auto Mac 10/45. Finding a Mac 10 made by the Powder Springs plant (Ingram's 1st shop where he oversaw it and quality was high), was tough, then one in good shape, and then one for a deal. I then got it strengthened with internal weld upgrades, re-parked as a result, and then went on the wait for Lage uppers and parts.

After upgrades and repark

After lage

Really want a S&W 325 PD 4"

But would buy Colt Python or Anaconda w/o hesitation if in good condition.

If H&K offered a MP7, would also buy two of them w/o hesitation.

Have a P7 PSP, but always on the lookout for a P7 M13.

I have a P7M13, it is ok, but not as well balanced or as fun to shoot at the P7. I carry the P7PSP.

I feel the same way.  I sold my P7M13 and will stick with my P7 and P7M8s.

A VLTOR Bren Ten in 10mm if they ever start manufacturing them. They were supposed to be ready to start up production and stopped in 2015 due to a depressed market affecting all of their products. They have indicated that the project is not terminated, just suspended.

That is a really nice looking setup. I really like that folding stock as opposed to the cheesy wire one that was made for it.

I don't blame them for suspending it.  I'm not sure I'd want to tool up to reproduce a gun for the 75 people in the country who are interested in buying one and who are going to incessantly nitpick every design departure you make.

A S&W 5906 in 9mm if anybody in CA has one.

A Colt XSE (blued) in .45ACP if anybody in CA has one.

Goddamn roster.

NJSP carried P7M8, then Sig 228, then 229.  Currently transitioning to G19

I promise you this:  You will see a rainbow tailed, fully chrome horned unicorn fly out of my ass before you EVER EVER see a Vltor Bren Ten.

Now, if i weren't fully committed to a VERY expensive future project any gun on this list would be the gun I would immediately buy:

Sig P226 Elite or an X5.  WOW....the new Elites, X5s and Legions are amazing.

A pristine Luger, the earlier, the better.  Especially with a grip safety.

A pristine or properly restored C96 in 7.63 Mauser

A 6 inch Colt Python

Definitely a tie between a KG code Mark 23 and a perfect condition pre-gunlock S&W Model 29.

Assuming I had funds for it though; every one of either I've seen was selling well north of $2000, and I will not throw that kind of money at a pistol right now.

Mine isn't a pistol. It's the M60 I carried in the Army. Don't try fooling me with an imposter, either, because I still remember the serial number.

That is the only "unicorn" gun I would mortgage my children for, and I know it will never happen. Sadly, the government will never allow it into my privately owned hands. That's what makes it a unicorn.
