Title says its all.

My best shooter in my hands is my 4506. Being as my preferred method is AIWB, no I don't carry it.
NO, I wouldn't carry a 22lr revolver for SD, and I don't hunt.
I feel like is an irrelevant question to be honest. I mean I shoot much better with my CZ SP-01 or my CZ 75 SAO, but those are much too big to carry IMO. I would assume that 99% of everyone shoots a full size or at least different hand gun better than the one they carry. Carry guns are meant to carry, to be concealed. Competition guns are meant to shoot, so of course, those will shoot better for most people than most carry guns.

Nope, I shoot my buckmark the best, I carry a cz75 compact (which I shoot very well also, but not like my buckmark)
I shoot CZ75s much better than my glock 19 but I still carry a glock 19.
Well since I tend to shoot all my handguns well except my revolvers. Yes I carry what I shoot the best.
Currently carry a Glock 19. I also carry depending on my mood and weather: Sig 220, 229,245. 1911 from compact to full size. Preferred the cco sig c3. Springfield 45xd And now added to the carry stable a Cz p07. A little over a dozen types but all shoot to point of aim on the first round when drawn from concealed. |
No, I carry a G26. I shoot 4" K frames or Ruger GP series better but they are too big to carry. If I could, I would.
I shoot 1911s the best but I don't even own any. I own a G19 and carry a P3AT.
I shoot a 17 better than anything but its heavily modified, trigger, sights and such. I am pretty proficient with my stock 19. I could use some practice with my 42. I don't feel at all inadequate with any of my guns.
G19Gen4. The gun I wish I could hate. I am no Glock fanboy. But I hit what I want with it. So, yes.
I shoot 1911's best (like most people I've met) due to the trigger. Carry Glock or HK.
No, I shoot my Ruger MkII 22/45 the best. But, I usually carry a Kahr P9, or a G19, depending.
I shoot 1911s the best and carry one about 1/2 the time. Otherwise it is a Glock 19 or 26.
No, I shoot 1911s beat and enjoy shooting them most but carry a Glock 19. I'm considering having a custom holster made to give a 1911 one last chance
Shoot best = 5" all steel 1911
Carry 1 = Kahr CM9 Carry 2 = Glock 19 |
I shoot my CZ75 B SA with trigger job the best but carry a Kahr CM9 or Gen3 G19.
Full size guns don't shoot any better in my hands than compact ones, but mouse guns shoot much worse. So I carry compact, and when necessary a Shield, which seems only slightly less accurate.
For me it is all about confidence. I practice a lot, use night sights, and do everything I can for even the slightest advantage should I ever need it, so I think it is foolish to carry a gun that takes that edge away. I want to know that if I have to draw that I could make a clean head shot if necessary. |
I carry a Gen4 G19. I switched from a 9mm EMP which I liked and shoot better.
The reason I switched was to have the same trigger, sights, and grip angle as my issued duty weapon. (G21) KISS |

Depends on how you interpret the question if you mean anything even close to remotely concealable then yes, If you mean out of everything that I own then no. Those bolt guns are a bitch to conceal.
If you are referring to a defensive handgun then the answer would be yes. If you are referring to any and all firearms in the collection then the answer would be no.
Yes the question was posed towards handguns - to include full size options.

If I carried what I shot best it would be a Glock 34 - and that ain't happening.
However, I shoot my 19 plenty good enough and that's my edc. |

Title says its all. curious to the results. I suck pretty much equally with about everything I own. Didn't you win the pistol shoot at the Rangemaster Tac Conference? If I focus on the trigger pull with my G19 I can shoot it as well as any other handgun I own. I can shoot other guns easier....... |
Yes, more or less. I'm pretty even with my 1911's and my G21 with the slight edge to the 1911's. That said 13+1 and 26 additional rounds of 230gr backups are a convincing argument. I can still headshot my steel silhouette target at 25yds 9/10 times with the G21, so I'm pretty happy. I used to exclusively carry my 1911's, but got a little tired of the weight and rust. One was super reliable, so that was never an issue, but the G21 has been pretty decent too, aside from a few new-gun bobbles with some 15 year old mags. |
No; I haven't gotten comfortable with carrying a full size 1911 yet.
My 6" model 19 isn't easy to conceal. So I carry my 442. LOL. I don't know if the 19 is the BEST, but its at the top. I had a Kimber 1911 that was the best for me. But I got rid of it because I needed the money and I'm quicker with 9mm. My springy milspec isn't as accurate as my M9. So....
Anyways..... no I don't carry what I shoot the best. |
Although I voted "yes" I actually carry the "carry gun" I shoot the best and not my dedicated precision target pistols.
Nope... I carry a Sig P938 that fits my pocket better than my Glock 17.
As far as my handguns go, I shoot my carry guns the most, and am most comfortable with them.
I shoot three guns really well, but two of the three I'd never carry for self defense.
