that with soap and water was going to be my first try, when I get home. Thought others might have a better method.

I would use a soft nylon brush (toothbrush) and Murphy's Oil Soap. I have found Murphy's will gently clean dirt and grease off any plastic or finished wood surface without leaving a soapy residue. Good stuff. Mix it a little on the stronger side (per the instructions) for grease and mud. Scrub with the brush and wipe it often with a dry clean towel.

You don't need anything more than a toothbrush and water.

Available everywhere including Walmart. Cheap too.

It is nice because it cleans but will not dull, scratch or whiten the plastic.

Soap water and scrub brush.  Then use rem oil or call spray to shine back up. Take a paper towel and dry it real good after the call spray.

Worked great on my glock I just recently cleaned.

Damon I hate that autofill deal on this kindle fire.

Since you asked... DISHWASHER!  But seriously, Toothbrush, Water, and Elbow grease.  Soap would work also but, you have to ensure ALL the soap is off or else you will end up with a slick grip.

I use hot soapy water, but was thinking about trying auto detailing clay.

I'd say leave it.

In time it will start growing its own dreadlocks.

Careful when you heat that dihydrogen monoxide and it could kill you if you try to breath it.

Don't confuse your drinking cup with your Simple Green cup. That stuff tastes horrible and I still can't stand the smell of it.

Between  carrying it every day and shooting the crap out of it, mine built up a fair bit of funk in it as well.

I stripped it down and ran it through an ultrasonic cleaner. Now it's good as new

Also, you did the stippling yourself on that right? Looks real good, dude.
