CZ75 or Beretta 92FS/M9
Both are accurate, reliable and very pleasant to shoot. Beretta mags are easy to find and cheap. A Wolff TCU, "D" mainspring, and metal trigger noticeably improved the trigger pull on my 92FS. |

M&P 9mm can be a 6 -8moa shooter. I want one myself so I'm going to wait a little longer before buying.

Rented both at the range. VP9 by far has the better trigger and ergonomics to me which makes it totally worth the price.

The M&P might be best with the requirements you listed. The VP9 is a nice shooter but is it worth the extra coin just to have a decent trigger (something I don't think is possible with an M&P) that is up to you.
I have owned M&P pistols including the Shield. I've had them with APEX triggers, and still found them lacking. But they are decent guns for the money. Glock is the best option of course. The rest are either wasting money or spending more for less. |
