Does this wear look normal to you guys? I have about 1500-2000 rounds though it so far. Never had a single malfunction so far. Clean and lube every range session.

That wear looks normal

It will progress to a point where it stops contacting, and proceed no further.

That doesn't look much different from my police trade-in 92G.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. It's not like the slide is going to wear all the way through the frame or otherwise compromise the structural integrity of the gun.

The one question I would consider is how you lube the gun. A light viscosity oil like what you get from anything in an aerosol can is, at best, less than ideal for frame rails.

The general rule many follow is to use oil on anything that pivots or rotates and to use grease on anything that slides.

The canned aerosol stuff is okay on FCG parts. For frame rails (and the buffer assembly, BCG, and CH on my ARs), I like to use the high temperature, multi-purpose grease found in the automotive section at Walmart. It's really cheap, it's slick, and a little goes a long way.

I use mpro7 on all of my guns. So far so good as functionality goes. I was more concerned about the feed ramp and the end of the back rails rails. They looked cut but feel smooth on my finger.

The two rail edges should be like that.  If they were cut square, they could crack.

The bullet guide should be like that from ammo.

Your gun is wearing-in, not wearing out.

Keep in mind that this is an aluminum frame.  It has different properties than a steel frame.

Shoot in confidence.  Beretta makes a great product.

That looks like a LOT of wear for only 2k rounds.

Dude. It's normal.

On the left is my 92G. On the right is my 92FS. Both of these are police trade-ins.

The fit and finish of Beretta 92s is very good for the price, but it only gets so good. Some spots in the finish of the aluminum are higher than others. Those high spots are gradually worn down with friction. 2,000 rounds plus X dry cycles is enough to make a lot of that happen. The finish wears and the surfaces smooth a bit. And like Matt has said, when it's done, it's done. It's not some kind of warning sign that your gun is going to fall apart.

Finish and minor surface wear is normal.

Is anything cracked,  binding, galling, peening or broken?

Come back after 30-40k rounds op.

All these "is this [surface finish] wear normal" threads are silly, as well as all the fools jumping in and saying "no."
