I have 2RMR'ed M&Ps and currently I'm not using the plate on either, I've run them for about 2yrs...I might add it on the new project that will probably be a glock 19/17

Here's mine, I just got the mount a couple days ago so I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

S&W 629 V-Comp with Trijicon RMR (7 MOA amber dot dual illumination)

Can anyone explain why people prefer their rear iron sight in front of their red dot(RMR)vs behind it?

thanks

Often it is because you can use them to rack the slide rather than using the optic

My first 'race gun'.  A Ruger Mark II, purchased around 1996 or so.  Used it to blast pins for many years!

And my new favorite gun: Tanfoglio Gold Custom .38 Super.  Love shooting Open in USPSA with this gun!  C-More RDS on a Double Alpha 3-in-1 mount.  (It has a kickstand.  Soooo nice for table starts!)  Big stick mags by Henning.  I have a Safariland 014 Open holster for it, on an ELS belt.

(Love those RMRs!  I would love to get a M&P with a RMR setup.  Friend of mine has one, very fun gun!)

I know what you’re thinking, "Did she fire 33 shots or only 32?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself.
Granny rockin' my Glock 19.

Also, both tritium sets are seen through the lens, which might be tinted. That means the rear aren't brighter than the front.

Unity Tactical ATOM G19 slide in FDE, on a factory FDE G19 frame. Optic is a Trijicon RM07, light is an Inforce APL, and suppressor is a Silencerco Osprey 45.
