Really like my Andrews McDaniels II holster, rides really well.  What I like about it is that it is fairly thin without the bulk of straps on the outside of the holster like the Kramer pictured below in the next post.

Stock photo from site with a 1911, Sam makes HP ones too.

I've owned this Kramer IWB #2 holster since early 90's. It's in horsehide, durable, comfortable and pricey. You pay for what you get. The only IWB holster I own for my numerous carry Hi-Powers.

Another +1 for Sam Andrews leather. This is my third. First one I bought about 13 years ago and it's still going strong. When I had my Hi Power made over there was only option for gun leather and the McDaniel 2 was it.

When you call to order you will talk to Sam himself. A very pleasant man and very well versed in his craft. There's even an hour-long video of his holster making process from start to finish. Well worth the watch on YouTube.

You guys beat me to the punch on Sam..

Just a FWIW, the McDaniel was designed for a Gainesville PD undercover cop. He needed a holster that would conceal a 1911 under nothing more than a t-shirt.

I am testify that it will indeed do just that. I once carried a Para Ordnance P-14 into Orlando International wearing only shorts and a t-shirt.
