I picked-up this 1967 T-Series H-P yesterday in a trade. I have about $400.00 in it. There is a good bit of finish loss but it's very solid. Much smoother than my C-series....And that's saying something.

I don't think it's a Israeli gun though there are some heel markings I'm not quite sure what they are.

The Israelis got some T-Series pistols but from what I've seen they are serial-ed differently and most have been refurbed/parked.

As a added bonus it came with a IJ marked Inglis mag. Glad I bought several of those IDF H-P holsters when they were available too.

Fixed.
JMB died nine years before Saive finished the HP design.
JMB's original " Grand Rendement" was a damn ugly gun.

Nice looking Hi-Power and it looks great in that black holster.

Actually the hi power was presented for the French Pistol trials in 1928, less than a year after JMB died.  The French did not adopt it, the Belgians gave it the P-35 designation when they adopted it in 1935.

Browning did the design work, finishing touches were done by Saive.

Nonsense. JMB's design was effing hideous. Read any book on the High Power and its pretty damn evident that Saive deserves most of the credit......and all of the credit for the double stack magazine.
