The slide markings refer to where it was made, i.e. Belgium, or sometimes Herstal, Belgium, kind of like saying "Made in USA". A Belgian Hi Power is made in Belgium. If it were made in America it would be American. Made in Austria-Austrian, etc.
As to the golden Hi-power, I'd shoot it until the gold wore off of it. |
