THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT

Mine is pretty stout also. I almost have to use 2 hands if I wanted to drop the slide that way....

Stick with powerstroking anyways on a gun that small.... more effective and repeatable, especially under stress.

I'm guessing you're trying to press it with an empty mag in? That's why.

ok, i just checked mine out...and wow, the slide release isn't that stiff. when i first got it, yeah, it felt like 30lbs. but now i can actually use it as a "slide release"

maybe it takes some time to break it in.

ding ding ding, hitting it on a full mag takes it down to about 10lbs, still stiff but way more manageable. Thanks!

I think this is the 3rd thread in the last month that I've answered the same question about various handguns and it's always an empty mag in the gun.

Mine is stout until it's got a mag with a round in it in the mag well. Then it's easy as pie.

mine still sucks with a full mag... barely doable.

Also read it's not meant to be a release, only a lock for reload, so it is what it is.
