THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT On cartridges that are left in chamber, there is barely a scratch on the rim of the case where the extractor pulls or slips off the rim. Since this is only once about every three magazines could it be limp wristing? Also, what about bending extractor spring a little bit more so it puts more pressure on the claw of the extractor? |

send back, they have spot on customer service. also have them polish the feed ramp, they are natorious for not getting that done to a high polish and can cause FTF problems. but I run with my pf9 and I have no issues wit hit, and I like it as far as compact accuracy that weighs almost nothing.

I was very pleased with the 147gr. accuracy, about 2" at 12yds off sandbags. The win. white box 115gr not only malfunctioned more, but was scattered all over the paper. Best group I shot was about 5" at 12yds. That is strange because that cartridge is usually
pretty accurate in all my other 9mm's. I hope I get this dialed in because I like the feel of this little pistol. Be a dang good little piece to tote on hikes and in my cycling jersey pocket. |

FMJ tend to malfunction in mine. It runs flawlessly with JHP. Try a shorter nosed bullet, a 147 grain FMJ, or JHP. Winchester "target/range" boxes tend to be the worst.
You should be using JHP for defense anyway, so should shoot a bunch of that to make sure it works reliably. |

Check out ktog forums for more info, but the big new FTE remedy is a longer screw with 2 extractor springs pushing on your extractor.

I saw that. Two springs?? I don't know. I might try and put more of a bend/arc in my spring to put more pressure on the extractor claw.
It will probably f it up, but I'll try it. |

I thought it was a pretty good idea really. I bent my spring and I'm not sure if it helped, still had some FTE issues. But everyone that's used 2 springs seemms to have a success story. I'm gonna try it soon bc I really want this gun to work. |

I noticed one thing about all the spent cartridges that were not extracted. In a line down the case from the extractor claw mark are tiny nicks in the brass. Maybe two or three, tiny nicks from about 1/8" from the rim in a line to the case mouth.
The breech has a tiny bur right opposite of the extractor the chamber is smooth, so it must be this bur that is nicking the brass. |

My PF9 is flawless with all ammo, but during break in period, only malfunctions I had were WWB. It was perfect with Fed FMJ, Fed 124 Hydra shok, Speer Gold Dot 124 JHP +P and my current carry load, the Fed HST 124. I measured a handfull of all my rounds, and found that WWB was not only the longest bullet profile, but the most inconsistent in OAL.
I don't like failures even at the range, so no more WWB for me. Fed FMJ is just as cheap and more reliable. And although the Gold Dot +P functioned fine, it had too much kick. |

Anyway mine is doing the exact same thing it will not cycle the winchester white box. |

I was only having FTE problems. I sent it back and got a new barrel without a bur on the breach face and I shot it yesterday, it cycled federal 115 and American eagle 147 FMJ's without issue.
