I've always liked the concept of the 45 Commander(fullsize frame, shorter barrel and slide) and CZ offers a version called the "Semi-Compact". Since CZ-USA doesn't import them, I assembled one for myself. Very handy package!

Just got a compact .40 a few weeks ago.  The factory rubberized grips are fantastic, it makes my 75b factory grips feel downright unpleasant in comparison.

Nice picture. What kind of lighting did you use or is it an out side pisture?

Thanks. The lighting is natural - overcast sky. Shot taken just by the window.

Here's another pic comparing the size of the Kadet to the P22.  Click on the links below for videos of the Kadet - with and without suppressor.

I really like the CZ-75 SA.  Does anyone know if is available with the original style round trigger guard?  I didn't think CZ offered the rounded trigger guard any more until I saw a new CZ-75B a few weeks ago with the old-style trigger guard.  At first I thought it was an old original CZ and my heart skipped a beat, then I realized it was a new one.  If I could find the CZ-75 SA with the round trigger guard, I'd buy it.  In my opinion the useless serrations on the trigger guard complete ruin the lines of the gun.

My first CZ 75B two tone with nickel lower I believe.  Bought it used but in mint condition today.  I like it alot.  Bad pics though.  Thinking about putting some wood checkered grips on it.  What do you guys think?

AIM,

A little detail please!  Did the kadet upper have enough barrel to thread, or is it a custom barrel swap out?  I'm thinking there may be some NFA goodies (suppressors) in my future this and maybe next year.  A suppressed .22 would be one of them!

I picked this up already threaded from Mark McWillis at TROS. Basically, he threaded the stock barrel, and added one of his adapters to get the 1/2x28 threads. He still sells them.

AIM, cool, I wrote that down.  When I get to looking for the Kadet, I'll call 'em and see about getting a threaded unit.  Did he just take the Kadet you had, and thread it?  If that's the case, I'll get the Kadet, and when I'm ready for the NFA sounds of silence, I'll send it to him.

Thanks!

Actually, since he's local here, I just walked up to his table at the gunshow. Hey! I know what that is. How much? Okay. And picked it up. Of course, I also dropped off my 10/22 barrel and BuckMark for him to thread as well.

I need to take some new pics of my CZ pistols.  I have had 2 SP-01's (1 Tactical and one Manual Safety) but I know only have the manual safety model.  My next CZ purchase will be a CZ-75 SA, I also plan on converting my SP-01 to single action and installing the CZ competition sights.  I've had 3 CZ-52's but only have my Chrome CZ-52 left.

My old CZ SP-01 Tactical

SP-01 w/ CZ 25 round factory mag

Chrome CZ-52

Old CZ-52

Tanfoglio Witness MATCH 10mm (was one of only 5 imported when I bought it), single action, longer slide/barrel, extended controls, upgraded sights, shoots amazing

Great guns. Had a 75B a few years ago but had to sell it when unemployed for rent $. Receantly found a like new CZ 75 made in 1991?, paid $ 430 which is a pretty good deal IMOP for a non B. Shoots good and is finished better than the 75B I had.

Great pictures of your CZ!  I joined the club a few weeks ago, with a LNIB Pre-B circa 1992 for $390!  Absolutely love it!
