Don't know about that magazine in particular but my experience in general is that any magazine for a B model will fit in a pre B but often will not drop free.

I believe it is the sp01 mags you need

The mec-gar17 and 19rd mags do not work in my 91 pre B. The 16rd and Factory SP 01 mags do work.

These are Pre B magazines.  I've not ordered or used any of them.  I have ordered magazines from Greg Cote LLC and shipping was pretty quick.  I'll order more from him one of these days.


I modified my CZ 85 Pre B magazine well.  Now I use the 17 and 19 round MecGar 9MM magazines in mine, too.

You can check out the CZ Forum, do a search and find threads on how to modify your mag. well.  It's all internal and you can't even tell when your done.  Just takes a frame disassembly, a file, some elbow grease, a clean up to remove the metal filings and then put it back together and lube it up.

I got some of these for $20.44 and they worked.
