It looks like Buds has a lot of surplus CZs in stock right now if anyone is looking.

Prices aren't that great IMO.

Shop local got a gaggle of these in a month or so back.  Condition varied but I felt no way they were worth the asking price.  At $299 or less maybe.  But when 40 cal Sigs sell for not much more on police trade-ins, hard to justify.

What the heck did the previous user use on that P01 to push in the takedown pin, a square punch?

I mean, there are some that just need a spray with a couple coats of alumahyde. But those with severe wear or frame damage need to be more around $200. And I would have to see the bores and locking lugs before buying.

I have several of the kind Buds is selling from CDI sales.

They look rough on the outside but from the ones I have gotten are great inside.

They are way to high for the condition though.

Just keep hitting it with that rock or something till it comes apart.
That was what it said in the manual.

Ugh I wish Coles got these instead of Interarms, that way I could see what exactly I'm buying.  I really want another nice transitional but it appears they have them mixed in with the CZ75B's.

You sunofagun, did you buy it 1-2 days ago? It looks exactly like the one I was going to buy when my check cleared today. >_>  Ah well, at least its in good hands. :3 And probably best not to buy form buds anyway. :3

Yes I did. This is a different one than they had pictured. The serial numbers are different and it has no P-01 markings. I was a little turned off by that, I kinda wanted it to go with it's new brother. Lol

Due to auction policy here I won't link it - but are yours the alloy frame without rail AND safety that are on there?

How many mags come with them?

Who do I ask for if I call?

I love CZ's. But I've had the worst luck with Buds... I'm 0 for 3 with them and really hesitant to go for that 4th time up to bat. YMMV...

Agreed.  For not much more you get the Latest 75B model with two magazines.  Two CZ branded mags versus buying your own surplus
Or promag or the better Mecgars.

Based on the photo later posted in this thread, it looks like a bubba gunsmith job to add a takedown recess and flush cut the slide stop pin.

When done right really all that should be added is a perfect, round chamfer, but someone messed up and ended up with an oblong mess.

My (new) P01 Urban Gray has the long/oval chamfer/depression around the right side of the takedown pin.

Where the older models different, or the decocker models different?

Guess I'm wrong then. I assumed it'd be the same as the SP01 or 75B.

When an old, kind of rough looking CZ75 costs as much or more than a Sig 226 trade in that looks a lot better, it's overpriced:

$350, shipped. Really nice shape. I like the nickel controls too.

I converted it to conventional DA/SA for $50 in parts.

Come on children, play nice. No fighting. 77powerwagon, please tell us where to find such a bargain. And if its a 40s&w that's cheating because demand has plummeted for that caliber.
