I've got a set of Dawson' sitting next to me ready to install. What am I in for??

Rear looks pretty straight forward to remove and replace.

Front has me a little worried. Punch out the roll pin, fit the new one and drill it out for said roll pin. Its the drilling that I'm not digging, screw that up and I've got problems.

Boost my confidence!

Don't drill the the front sight while it's in the slide.

Pop the roll pin out, put the new sight in and mark for the slot.  Then notch the front sight with a file

In and done. Surprisingly easy.

The dawson' are a breeze to pick up over the factory sights.

Get to the range tomorrow and sighted in.

Pictures don't do justice to the very clear sight picture these offer
