I have never owned a CZ before, and I'm looking for some input on some options. I am going for something that can easily mount a suppressor (I.e. Threaded barrel, raised sights). I've narrowed it down to:

1.http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-p-09-urban-grey-suppressor-ready/

2. http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-sp-01-tactical-urban-grey-suppressor-ready/

I'd be interested to hear from people who have shot/are familiar with both (obviously not necessarily exact configuration, but the same models). Aside from the obvious (price/capacity) what are the real differences. Is one easier to shoot than the other? Is the heavier weight of 2 a plus or minus over 1? Ergonomic difference? Ease of maintenance and reliability comparisons? Trigger (I think they both have Omega, but does it feel different gun to gun)? Etc. Thank you in advance.

The SP-01 Tactical does not use the Omega trigger system. It uses the 75B system which is good and bad. If you want to do some upgrades it gives you more options to sweeten the trigger. The P-09 has upgrade options, but in the end if you did everything you could to both the SP-01 will have a better trigger. The P-09 will often have a better trigger out of the box (and can be improved even further for free easily). The Omega system is super simple and easy to work on. The SP-01 Tactical's sear cage is the devil if you need to do some work on it. The P-09 has more capacity, but much more expensive mags since the only available mags are factory offers that are $40 + each. The SP-01 can use any factory of aftermarket 75B based mags. I have a bunch of CZ's and run the much cheaper Mec-Gars ($20-25 each) in all of them. P-09 can be run with a decocker or with a safety. The decocker when installed faces forward. The Sp-01 decocker faces to the rear, and its a bit easier to activate on accident (IE shooting under recoil). The SP-01 Tactical being all steel will soak up the recoil better than the P-09.

These are my opinion based on currently owning SP-01 safety model, P-01, P-07, and a P-09.

Are you just interested in the longer/heavier guns?

You can also get a P07 set up for a suppressor.  And a P01, too.  Both are the compact versions of the two you listed (P09/P07 and SP01/P01).

You know, I think they are even making a CZ 75 in a suppressor ready version.

I own/shoot a P09 (standard 9MM), P07 (standard .40 S&W).  P01 (Urban Gray 9MM) and an older CZ 85 (Pre B 9MM).

That P01 grows on me every time I shoot it.  If just really feels good in my hand.  You should probably visit some gun stores/gun shows and handle the different models/versions and see what you hand fits the best.

OK, I might have posted the wrong link. I guess I'm really confused between these three.

Aside from cost/capacity, what is the different. They all seem to be some variant if the CZ 75, some with Omega trigger some without? Shootability? Maintenance/Reliability? Etc?

How would the best of these compare to P09/07

Sorry about links, but originals don't work be because of Omega symbol

I have 3 metal framed CZs and 3 polymer framed CZs.

The P07 and P09 are more accurate than my P01 or CZ 75 Compact.

My P09 .40 S&W is about the same as the P01 or CZ 75 Compact.

Reliability so far, with my P07 and P09 guns has been 100%.

My P01 has had 2 failures to feed with 115 grain hollow points.  It has a small "spot" on the feed ramp that is rough.  I didn't see it but I can feel the bullet catch on it if I push a bullet tip up the ramp by hand.  I need to polish that out, soon.

You might by a CZ 75 Urban Gray that is just as accurate as my 9MM P09, then again, maybe not.  Guns are different, one to the next, even if the same model and caliber.  Manufacturing tolerances and the range from acceptable to out of spec. results in guns that are not identical in function or accuracy at times.

All I can say is that in the last few years I've been through several of the big brands of handguns and since buying that first P07 almost 3 years ago it's the only brand I buy.  After shooting my CZs my youngest son has gone to CZs (two now) and put his Beretta in the safe.  My oldest son is waiting on the Omega P01's to become available again.  My nephew is looking for a Rami.  In my opinion, they are awesome guns.

Do you want to carry it?  Is it just a range gun?  For every day carry I'd pick a P01 or P07.  They are the compact versions of the full sized guns.

They are all variations of the same thing in a way.
The P-01 is the compact version of the SP-01. So dimensions and capacity will differ. The links you provided show a P-01 with the Omega trigger system, which is convertible
between manual safety and decocker, the SP-01 you linked is decocker only. I also understand the Omega has a better trigger feel, but I don't own one, so I wan't comment on that.
The third would be more the size of the SP-01 but without the accessory rail, and it has the Omega trigger.

As far as recommendations, I would get any one of those guns and you're GTG.
I guess you just need to ask 1. Do I want a Full-Size or Compact size gun? and 2. Do I need an Accessory rail?

ETA: I would also point out that the 75B and SP-01 are steel frame guns while the P-01 is aluminum. No problems with either with regards to reliability,
but weight is vastly different. So if that is a consideration.
