Looking for both new and used recommended prices on P-09s.

I've got a gentleman offering me a FDE P-09 in 9mm with approximately 1200 rounds through it in otherwise good condition for $475. No extras. Thoughts?

I've seen some black P-09s in 9mm new for as low as $450. Is color really worth the extra $100+ some gun stores are asking for the FDE? (Obviously an opinion here).

Also, any reliable source of these beauties would be appreciated.

The FDE version comes with tritium sights. Trijicon I believe.

Beware some of the lower priced black ones may be the Duty model or a prior generation.

If you keep checking Bud's the price of the FDE version fluctuates from 540 - 499.
With the "make an offer" they accepted 495 when it was 505.

I'd be inclined to buy new for that little savings. Every dollar matters though so.......

Hopefully Centerfire will get more in eventually, I purchased a 2nd there at 470 shipped.

May want to keep searching slickguns with slightly different search terms.

A brand new one on GB with FDE/NS can be had today for $500, seems high to me. I have seen the FDE/NS model sell below $500 NIB on GB auction.

This thread made me want to pick up another. I was looking for the suppressor ready gray version.

Seems like the FDE is sold out most places, the 500 one I could find on GB would be 530 shipped if no one bids.
580 shipped using buy it now.

There is a used FDE on GB only 150 rounds shot..........
Streamlight TLR 3.
3 - 19 rd magazines.
Black Point Kydex OWB holster.
Talon Grips.

At 50.00 now.
There is a reserve, buy it now is 550.

The P-07 in 9mm comes with 15 round magazines.
The 1st generation P-07 came with 16 round magazines.
(I believe that the P-07's are now shipping with a +2 magazine base plate)

The P-09 in 9mm comes with 19 round magazines.

My P07, acquired today, had the +2 bases.

Honestly, a P09 is such a good gun that trying to find $50 off here or there is missing the point. Under msrp? Get it. Nothing else in that price range is close, performance wise.

I love it when people poop guns made by CZ. I picked up a new unfired P-09 in 40 S&W in the box for $379.00 last week. Wanted a 9mm but could no pass this up. Shop owner and friend told me the guy bought it and a friend told him they are no good and to buy a Glock. SO he traded it in on a Glock 19. Hope he has more friends with good advice.

FDE P-09 is supposed to come with night sights vs. the black P-09s that don't...so that would be the price difference.

Picked up a new FDE P-09 with night sights at a LGS for $499 plus tax a couple weeks ago.

As far as I know the DUTY guns are P07s. Never saw a P09 marked DUTY.

If under $500, and I wanted another one, I'd pay that for it. My P09 9MM is a tack driver, a real tack driver. It outshoots me so far and I don't have many guns that do that.

The magazines are expensive. Just over $40 each from CZ USA, CZ Custom or Greg Cotes web sites. Still for the reliability, the way it fits my hand and the way they shoot, they're worth it.
