ive got the glocks covered (17/19/34) and a TRP.

What makes me interested is the single action c&l option. This would be a house / range gun.

Is this a good choice? Also considering a 75SA or a 226SAO

I'd just spring for an SP-01 instead of the 75b SA. You can always convert the SP-01 to SA only, as long as it the safety version. A buddy of mine has a P-09 with the CGW short reset kit, it's pretty nice for a plastic gun, but since this isn't going to be a carry gun for you, no reason to bother with the tupperware. I'd also consider an Tanfoglio Stock, Stock II, or Stock 3.  The Tanfo can also be SA only easily with an Eric Grauffel SA  trigger.

I got a P09 in 9MM after reading Joe's posts on the CZ forum and seeing the videos of the 100 and 200 yd. shooting.

My first trip to the range my first round hit low and left of POA.  Not much, but it was low and left.  After my second shot, I couldn't see a hole and just couldn't believe I missed the whole damn target at only 12 yds.  After my third shot the hole was just enough bigger for me to see the bullets were tearing one small hole.

The group got bigger, but that's me, not the gun.  I really like my 9MM P09.  After that I went to the next gun show and bought a P09 in .40 S&W.  I'm working on a good load for it.

Consider yourself talked into it.
Roughly a 3.5lb SA trigger right out the box.
Absolutely crazy accurate.  (There's a member here who beats out 1911's with a P-09 in bullseye comps.)
Ergonomics are something no other polymer framed pistol (or many steel framed) guns can even begin to come close to.
Oh...and do I need to even mention being able to carry damn near half a box ammo in it with its 19+1 capacity?

I have the FDE P09 in 9mm. Came with a nebo weapon light and factory night sights for $520 NIB. I have nothing negative to say about the gun. It's scary accurate and feels like a 1911. The grip width is actually narrower than my Springfield 1911 operator with VZ grips. It's like shooting a 1911 in 9mm only double stack mags with 19rds.

i ordered a P-07 cor CCW. my FFL is a customer 1911 armorer. he builds ground up guns for a bunch of local competitors. after he felt my 07 he order a 09 for himself. added some CGW stuff and he brags on the trigger.

I'm new to CZ's, but rapidly becoming a convert.

For comparison, here are some groups I posted over in the S&W forum in a thread regarding M&P 9mm accuracy.

These were all 10 round groups at 15 yards, with the same ammunition, fired by myself from a supported position on a barrel.  I'm absolutely sure there is some deviation due to my shooting ability (or lack thereof), but you can begin to see a pattern here.

I picked up a P-09 to play with based on these results.  I have added the CGW treatment to it, and am anxious to see how it stacks up.  To say I was disappointed in my M&P's, is a bit of an understatement.

Ended up finding a solid deal on a SP-01 safety model and put it on layway while I sell my G34.

Decided the extra up front cost would be cheaper by the time I buy a bunch of mags as I can use standard 75 mags

SP-01 is a great choice too. I also have one of those too. Mags are definitely cheaper for the SP-01. I bought extra 3 19rd mecgar mags from cdnn for mine

I've been regularly winning our pistol league shoots with one against $2500 Sig P226 X5 L1s. I had Cajun Gun Works work it over. I have around $700 total in mine.

My next CZ will probably be a P07 (I have a threaded P09)... I'd eventually love to get an SP-01. Such a beautiful gun.
