Interested in the project also, although I was more interested when I thought maybe you had a Kadet project. I love my Kadets.

I've got a 2075 Rami I'd like to outfit with a longer slide. Also want a fiber optic green front sight, and a Rear Sight Laser from a glock. Maybe later, an accu bushing and milling to reduce weight.

I'm starting to lean toward a full-length slide for the increased accuracy and unique look. Anybody got a line on an available 75 or 85 slide? SP01 too, but probably too costly.

Do you have access to a Rami frame and full-size 75 slide to get a feel for what your proposing? I think that setup would be very nose heavy for the very short grip on the Rami frame. The Compact slide on a Rami frame is a cool idea though; longer sight radius with a shorter grip for better concealability. I've seen where this combination was put together over on the CZ forum site and there was a bit more involved than a simple slide swap. Good luck with finding a slide.

Yes, I currently have a RAMI. Admitedly, the compact slide would probably be better for balance. However, having had a G17L, I don't think a full sized slide will be too nose heavy.

A few years back I managed to find a new 75 frame so I snapped it up and dedicated my Kadet unit to it.

that was a lucky break. If only I can find the opposite... CZ has P07 slides, but they won't work on a RAMI :(
