Glock 19 was my daily carry for a long time. It has been replaced by a CZ P-07 and I don't miss it - at all.

I love my CZ75B but the trigger really needs work.

I just yesterday sold my gen 2 Glock 17 and bought a new CZ75B Omega. Only had it a day and ran a magazine through it and it seems as accurate as my Glock was so
I like it so far but like I said I haven't had a lot of time behind the trigger with it yet but so far its great. I do like the heft of it compared to a Glock, and it points better for me naturally.
The CZ also looks a lot better than the Glock. I always thought the Glock looked like a gun carved out of a bar of soap but they do shoot well.

I'm gonna have to try one out for sure...Was thinking a PCR to start.

I've never owned a Glock, but went through a few phases where I thought I wanted one. Each time I would go to an indoor range, rent a few models, and each time I'd end up buying another CZ.

I went through several brands of plastic pistols till I got to the CZs.

P07 in .40 S&W is the most accurate semi-auto I've fired except for one or two of my older 1911's.

Liked it so well I went out and bought a P09 in 9MM.  It appears to also be about as accurate as the P07.

I will be getting another.  Trying to decide between a 9MM P07 or a .40 S&W P09.

For that use, and similar size, do not rule out getting a P-01 either (improved grip ergonomics over the 75B). That pistol just fits my large hands to a T.  I also got a P-07 when they came out, and it is a great shooter even though I find the grip just a bit small for me to be perfect.

Really, go with what fits and works the best.  I had a G19, great shooter. My beefy palms would roll over into the magwell and get sliced up during magazine changes.

You could sell it and get a 2014+ model and put the large backstrap on it.

I took the long, long, long road.  Glock to XD to M&P to CZ.  At least I ended up in the right place!

I have thought about getting a P-09 instead to use for 3Gun and USPSA.  However nobody around here carries CZ, and I don't want to plunk down to see.  That is what I did for the P-07, and while it came out ok, I really want to get my hands on one first.  Otherwise it is an SP-01 or TS instead.

I recently switch my off duty gun from a Glock 19 to a P07.  I carried the glock because is was simple and worked.  I picked up a P07 duty over the summer and was more accurate with the CZ than the glock.  I also liked the CZ grip more.  They are basically the same size, but I think the CZ's slide is thicker.  Whatever you shoot best is what I would go with.  David

You're going from striker fired with the Glock to either a DA/SA or SAO with the CZ, but I'm sure you're aware of that. That's the major difference. Some people struggle with the transition from the first DA pull to the following SA pulls, or just don't like it.

If it's for home defense I'd get a model with a rail for a light.  Check out the SP-01 and P-01.

I'm thinking a PCR for CCW,P01 for my HD/SHTF sidearm due to the light rail.

I have a G19 and a PCR.  The PCR is just damn sexy.  Anyway, The Glock is lighter for CCW, so I carry that most of the time.  Occasionally, the CZ bug will bite and I'll carry the PCR.  For home defense, buy the full size.  They are both incredibly reliable pistols.  Never a failure of any kind on either one.  I paid about $515 + 20 for the transfer on the PCR.  Purchased through Bud's.

Sold my Glock 19 Gen.4 and bought a P-07 Gen.2 several months ago....never have regretted it. Even the guy that bought my G19 is now thinking about selling it and getting a P-07. Just what you like and shoot better I guess, and I like and shoot the P-07 much better.

CZ for me but I am picking up a gen 3 G17 tomorrow. I tried the most awesome G19 but didn't really like it.  I might have to try the CZ P line if this G17 doesn't pan out. Then it's 07 or 09.

Why would anyone get a G19 when you have the VP9 out!  I held one when I was buying my SP-01 and am dead set on buying that for my next striker gun.

I replaced three of my Glocks with three CZ pistols and have zero regrets. CZ makes the best 9mm combat handgun IMHO.

Went from about 15 glocks, to 1 glock (my wifes 42), and now have a P09, SP01, and waiting for the P01 to get in stock. CZ is simply where its at.  Carrying an HK VP9 daily, but as soon as that P01 comes in stock....thats going to be it!

Here's my two. Have a CZ82 laying around some place also, but just got through cleaning these up from the range today. Ran around 300 rounds through both today, and finally decided the blued 75 will out shoot the P-07...at least in my hands. It's close though....

And, the only Glock I still own. 21SF with fun mag...

I have always been one of the most vocal reverends in the church of Glock, but then I got a P01

Hands down the best "duty" type sidearm I've ever shot.

I had 4 glocks before I bought my first CZ. Though I love the CZ....I still love my glocks and see no need to replace them. Will I buy more CZs? Sure....but Glocks will remain the go to's in my stable.

If we ever get open carry...I think duty will be shared between the CZ P09 and Glock 21 for times I do choose to carry openly.

Owned two cz compacts, the p01 and sp01.  All great guns.  All great shooters.  Ideal grip angle.   All reliable.  All are worth the added cost of assesories and complexity of design, maintenance and function if you want a heavier, larger, lower capacity all metal hammer fired gun.  They were a great value gun at $400, but in my area they are now priced the same or more vs. the rest.  All are gone now for me.

I have a Glock 23 that I shoot well.  I hate the gun but it functions and I shoot it accurately.  My favorite CCW is the CZ PCR.  Like the way it feels.

Switched from Glock to CZ.  Owned close to 20 glocks...sold them all, and now a CZ Fan Boy. I shoot them quite a bit better, and they just feel....right.

Sad thing is, you dont find them on the used market very often :(

I carry the 19 and like it.

I bought a p07 two weeks ago and finally had a chance to fire it. Biggest difference is the Cz has a lot of trigger up take before it goes off. Not a bad thing unless you compete in contests. You don't notice it when firing.

Weight is about the same for both. Other than safety set ups, they are both great.

I put four hundred rounds through the Cz with no malfunctions, so it is good to go after I tested my carry ammo. Fed hydro shocks and hornaday tap. The Cz shoots 4 inches high with 115 gr ammo but hits dead center with 124 gr at fifteen yards.

Really, I feel fine carring either gun but I think my next gun will be a Cz. Possible an omega or sp1.

Found out the Cz fits my summer special II from milt sparks that is made for the hk usp45c. Happy about that.

Been shooting Glocks for 20 years, I could never find a CZ to try out so I finally gave in and grabbed a Phantom off gunbroker. It was OK I guess, I then ordered a spring set from CGW and read up on trigger jobs. HOLY SHIT I now have a P-01 with the pro package in the works at CGW and two of my Glock on the chopping block.

I ran approx. 600 rounds through it this weekend, I can't believe how accurate and easy it is to shoot.

I carry a Glock 19 and my wife has a CZ P01.  Both are about the same size.  The P01 is a bit more accurate and has great ergos. If I were to make the switch, I would get the CZ 75 Compact and carry cocked and locked, as I really don't care for the long trigger pull on the first shot.  I would have no problem carrying either one, but at this point I am so used to the Glock platform that I am unwilling to change.
