My ideal .45 would be a 97B with an accessory rail, raised tritium sites, and a threaded barrel.

Think SP-01 profile but in .45 w/ TB.

I think it would easily compete with HK USP, etc.

Am I the only one who lusts after one of these??? (Hopefully CZ is listening...)

I would buy two.

Ive contacted every major gunsmithing/threading outfit and no one is interested in extending and threading the 97 barrel.

EAA Witness or Baby Eagle 45, swap in a Tanfoglio barrel chop and thread.

I search for a threaded barrel for a 97 every couple of months, and there are lots of people out there who want one. You can tell just by googling it.

Id be willing to pay a good amount of money for one, and so would a lot of other folks.

Just no one whos willing to do the work.

That's interesting. I was actually unaware of this pistol. Not very familiar with EAA. Does it have the reliability/ergonomics
of the original CZ design? And yet still no TB that I can find?

(Still would prefer a cz version.
