I've got the urge to buy another pistol.  Intended use is local 3-Gun, IDPA/USPSA pistol matches.  I'm a mid pack shooter, out to have fun.  Not enough practice time, and my eyes are getting older.  Budget is around $5-600 range, so a 75 Tactical Sport is a little out of budget.

CZ's fit my hands really well - I have a P-07 now (bought it 2 years ago), and the thing just points where I look, and shoots where I point it - probably because of my Slavic ancestry.

Trying to decide which one to get:

P-09...exact same controls/grips as my P-07 so thats a plus, BUT mags from my P-07 wouldn't work in the P-09, so no advantage there.  A bit cheaper to buy initially, so more money left for mags, but mags cost more, so thats a wash.

75B...timeless classic.

75-BD - Decocker version...I personally don't like cocked & locked on a carry gun, so the decocker has its appeal.  Could buy a Cadet, and run it as a 22 LR for cheap practice. But a Cadet costs almost as much as another pistol!

Suggestions?   Your experience with these pistols?

I would go for the P-09.  It has a better out of the box trigger than any 75 will.  Your P-07 mags won't fit anything else anyway.  You are already used to the controls.  For some, the BD version decocker gets in the way.

Have you seen the you tube videos of "Joe" shooting his 9MM P09 at 100 and 200 yds?  Very interesting.  A 3" five shot group at 100 yds. (even off a rest) is pretty darned good.

I also bought the P07 first and its a real dream to shoot vs. my other plastic handguns.  It's a big part of the reason for buying the P09.  I haven't got to the shoot the P09 much yet but fishing and other things have gotten in the way the last few weeks (I should just go shooting because I ain't been catching fish).

Any of the three would be a solid choice... The CZ75B is a true classic and one of the best semiauto handguns ever designed.... Just sayin.

Personally I'd grab a 75b first, P09 2nd and the 75bd last (I don't care for Decockers).
