It's tough, but not the prettiest finish.

It typically holds up well but if you use kydex holsters, the wear on the contact points can show up pretty quick.
Not really a big deal if it does wear some as there's parkerizing under the polycoat. |

I've told this before, but I'll tell it again:
I spent ~$1400 on a Custom Shop 75 Shadow. The very first day I shot it, my brother was with me. He was wearing a tungsten carbide ring and the ring during recoil cut straight through the finish. That poly finish is durable and the frame is parkerized beneath, but don't wear a damn tungsten carbide ring if you go shooting.
