Maybe Buds found one or a couple NOS Phantoms hiding in storage.
I guess it depends on what you meant by "discontinued". But last I heard CZ-USA just simply weren't importing the Phantom anymore. CZ-USA wanted to solely focus on the P-07/09 on the polymer side. The Czech military uses the Phantom (new standard service pistol) and the Slovaks I believe will be using them as well too. So CZ(UB) still makes them, just weren't importing them here in the US. But like I said, who knows. NOS from Buds. A couple extra from the factory/overrun. Who knows. CZ and CZ-USA's importation practices work in many mysterious ways as well. |
