THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT

Talking to my local dealer at a gunshow yesterday, and asked about anything interesting not on display. He told me he had two of these, (Of The 75 Production Run) back at the shop. Picked this one up today for $1199 + $10 transfer. No sales tax in Oregon either !

I have a Stainless 75B that has been a great shooter, but this one goes in the back of the safe.

Damn, I love these guns !

Just out of curiosity, does it feel like the trigger is refined more than a standard 75B stock gun?
Gotta enjoy the little things.

The trigger pull in single and double is pretty rough. I think my SS 75B has a much cleaner, lighter trigger.

Doesn't matter much to me, I'll never fire this one. I hope someone doesn't want it because it's such a good shooter either. Like I said, it's going in the back of the safe for quite a while except to show off to those who appreciate this type of thing.

Sorry, I am not fimiliar with CZ at all but is this a good price? The only reason I ask is because while waiting on the paperwork to be filled out for my M&P 9 Pro I was looking at this gun in the display case. Can't remember the price but its at my LGS I will be at later this week. I thought it would look nice to have in a case in my war room (office with all my .mil medals and uniform)

Right, I understand you don't buy something like that as a range toy. I was just wondering if they polished up the functionality too or if it was all about cosmetics.
Gotta enjoy the little things.

So it's a limited run of 75 guns recognizing....what?

I have a SS 75B as well (along with a few other CZ's in my collection) and the Stainless is my favorite. I prefer the slightly matte finish of mine over the newer shiny mirror finish though.

I guess you haven't seen the other commemerative they made a few years ago? I think it was the 25 year anniversary model, with the gold accents?

The other side is engraved saying "75th Anniversary of CZUB 1936-2011".

The other two I have seen currently on GunBroker with a "Buy It Now" of $1595, and an opening bid price of $1395, and one at $1199.

With no shipping, tax, & $10 transfer, I think I got a decent price.

Besides, I like shiny things.

Over on the 1911 forum, a gentleman had a new Wilson hard chromed. It came out unexpectedly good:

I hate the grips, but if it were mine I would carry it every day! (especially for that price)

Yeah, those grips put it over the top cheesy and ugly. I want to know where the anniversary short-rail models they made are at....?? Of course, they ruined those by making them "B" models.

"currently made" is the key phrase. The 25th and 30th annv. models are hideous....

Ugly or not I couldn't bring myself to purchase a gun that I would never shoot.

You need to see some of the other fancy commemoratives from CZ to appreciate the plainness of this one. I like it, and can certainly understand what you see in it. The exclusiveness alone would make me think I scored a great coup. While I don't have any safe only guns , I know plenty of people who do. Maybe it'll never gain much value but if you like it as a work of art, and it is, keep and enjoy it. Congratulations.

I used to think that this gun was gaudy, OP's American Eagle/Hollister CZ may be a bit more extreme...

I'll save my thoughts on the people who can spend any amount of dollars on a rifle but can't devote 20 minutes to getting their body in shape for another thread. -skinnysarge79

While I love the deep, polished bluing on that gun, the gold / yellow just ruins it for me.

As for the OP's gun, I've never been a fan of chrome / polished nickel / polished stainless guns, but that one doesn't look too bad, and I like how the scroll-work is tastefully done, and not all over the gun & gaudy.

My first thought as well. The Mexican drug lord commemorative.

All kidding aside, It's a very cool piece to have in your collection. I like the overall look of it, not crazy about the grips.

Handy little carbine. The M44 is a combination flash bang grenade, flame thrower, rifle and spear all in one.

Sinaloa Cowboy here,

The grips are supposedly silver, and actually have a lot more detail than in my original pic. Here's one that has more contrast.

They are raised, and have actually do improve gripping, however as I said, I'll probably never fire this one.
