Anyone have any experience with Grandpowers in general? This pistol is highly relevant to me. I'd like to have something better to replace my G20.

Sexy.

I love 10mm and would welcome another one on the market.

There are no real down sides to the P40 or P40L when comparing it to other models.
You get exceptional recoil management.
You get a fantastic trigger break and crisp reset.
The grip size is small enough that most adults with at least a medium hand can handle it well.
It also has a fully supported barrel, so your brass should last longer.
If you need wider safeties or a bigger mag button, they are available.
Same goes for sights. There are options for the front and rear.
If you need more than 14+1, Henning Shop make an extention that should allow up to 20-21 with a Grams follower and spring.

I have a P40 in my personal collection with a spare .40 S&W barrel. For a 4.25 inch barrel, it's exceptionally well balanced and easy to shoot even with full power ammo.
For the guys that would want the longer barrelled P40L, I believe ATF has approved it so it can be imported shortly.

The name Centimeter is just an informal name for the P40L in 10mm with the upgraded sights, not a separate model.

I am regularly asked about the use of "hot" factory ammo.

Originally I was quite comfortable saying here should be no issue aside from to the pocket book.

However after finding out how some of the smaller licenced manufactures don't test pressures and seem to rely on liability insurance, I had to moderate that position.
(In Europe and Canada, ammo for commercial sale has to be tested.)

I can speak to the quality and strength of the firearms. I can't address the same about the ammunition.
If the manufacturer tests there own products, it should be fine.
