I have a couple (an early .40 compact and a full size steel .45 ACP, an the ex had a 9mm full sized until she had to sell it and none of them have had any problems at all.  I had heard about the .45 versions starting to unlock a little early and the cure for that was to use a heavier recoil spring so I replaced mine with a 20# spring and the firing pin swiped across the primer ended.  I also put in an ambidextrous safety lever on the full size steel .45 as well.  Since my .40 S&W compact was also one of my first CCW pieces, that one had a set of Meprolight tritium sights installed on it.

Yes you do have a few..

I have a very early TZ75 is it a mid size in 9mm.

Then I got two large frame 45s. One is a match and the other is compinsated.

Then just yesterday I picked up my large frame 9mm Match.

I just love these pistols!!

.45

.22 conversion which is ridiculously accurate with automatch ammo

I have one in 38 Super.  With a conversion in 9mm, 22LR, and 40 Super.  It's a decent pistol, extremely reliable, but accuracy is not match grade.

I had a 10MM full size a number of years ago.
It ran fine, but I didn't shoot it a whole lot since single stacks in 10MM(and .45 for that matter) fit my hands better.

Had 2 of the 45's years ago, when the local Long's drugs carried guns, ammo and reloading supplies.  For the $240 per, i paid they were decent investments.
