Hi all. I need some help on finding/purchaseing Wounded Warrior grips for my 1911. I have sent an email to Armscor to see if I can purchase these grips. I have had no response from them so I took it a step further. I emailed Gene Simmons from KISS that is a huge supporter of Wounded Warriors to ask him the same thing. So know I reach out to my fellow 1911 shooters as well. Any thoughts on how I can get a pair of these grips/stocks? Below is the email I sent to Mr Simmons.

Greetings Mr Simmons. I hate to bother you however I need some guidance.
I know that you are a very big supporter of the Wounded Warriors program
and take that very seriously for our men and women that serve our great country
and for that I tip my hat to you sir! Outstanding to say the least! Here is the
problem that I am having. I would very much like to purchase a set of the
Wounded Warriors pistol grips for my 1911 45. I have contacted Rock Island
Armory that makes the Wounded Warrior 1911 to see if these are available for
purchase. I have not received a reply as of yet. If you can steer me in the
right direction I would very much appreciate it. I would also like to point out
that I'm not looking for any kind of hand out either. I want to show my support
for these great people that have sacrificed for all of us. Who do I contact? I
just didn't know who else to contact. Take care Mr Simmons and thank you and all of your family for what you do.

Regards,
Michael Leech

Update. The grips are made for Armscor by the Historical Armory in Colorado and they will not sell the grips. So thats a wash.
