I'm glad u bumped it forward and not me, the last time I did that (for referecne work also) I was criticised for doing it.  That gun as of yesterday hit the 20,000 round mark also.  Who says kahrs can't take  a licking and still come up ticking???

porsche,

You should give the guys at Kahr a call and see if they will feature your PM-9 in a article. I have David O and Franks H. info.

Porche,

you realy should have Kahr show that beast at SHOT.

Have you heard from Mike at Accurate Iron lately? I have a slide and frame in and can't seem to raise him anymore.

Porche I have my PM back and got it out to the range finaly.  I carry OWB, in the pictured Bulman holster I have a positive, consitant grip.

I took these pictures today knee deep in the snow, temp around 29

Melted corners

and last those XO sights....... not a big fan still, may have to replace them with Heinies like my other pistols.

I didn't like it before, but it's starting to grow on me know.

man that is super looking  ACCURATE IRON did a suepr nice job.  he did a nice slide melt.  If you give those xs sights a fair chance you will like them. They are u know ar enot target sights but sure are faster sights than anything I have ever had on a gun.

I love my PM9 and at 7 yards I am very good but when I get bck to 15 yards I am all over the place.  I have over 25,000 rounds out of my PM9 and I just have to attest that I am not a great, good shooter  at least with this PM9, but this gun ismy 24/7 caryr and I truly love to shoot it. Mine is ported a syou iknow and it just is so pleasant to shoot.  the only thing I would stilldo on your PM9 is modify that slide stop lever, a very easy contour job that if yo avve a dremel you can do in 10 minutes. It sure cleans up the gun even more. I even dremeled and contoured the right side of my slide lock pin to be totaly flush witht he right side of the gun. Looks like a trigger pin now..

I'll bump it. I carry my PM9 every day. Of all the pistols I own, it's the one I carry most. If I'm working, I carry it in an ankle rig. Your's looks great. Did you do the grip yourself or have someone do it?

I have a S&W 642 Powerport that people like to hate because "carry guns shouldn't be ported." I don't like ported guns in general, but let's point out a few things;

1: If you have to fire from close retention, a little powder burn is the least of your worries.
2: The problem the ports present can easily be avoided by canting the gun slightly outboard, which you should be doing anyway.
3. How much "training and practice" take to hit a target from contact distance? (I agree that it should be done a few times in live fire just to work out the bugs.)

Nice gun.

Porsche,

I really like your PM, awesome job.

I have a question:
I recently purchased a used PM9 from an individual who said he had shot about 200+/- rds. through it with no problem. When I pull the trigger about 1/4 of an inch the slide raises in the rear. This only happens when the gun is cocked, with or without a loaded mag inserted. The slide moves enough to change my sight pic. Is this normal? I've searched on this site and the Kahr forums and haven't seen anything close to what I'm encountering.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
