Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 2 screws in sideplate of CW 380

I just picked up a CW 380 and noticed that it has 2 screws in the side plate on the side of the right grip.  My older cw's or P380 does not have this feature.  Just curious as to "why" ?i

My P380 has that panel with 2 screws.  My CW had it too.  I think the P380 is from 2011  and the CW was probably a 2014.
