THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I tried a PM9 but could not get used to my pinky not on the grip. My thought was to get pearce mag extension. However, this brings the height of the PM9 to the height of P9. Granted the PM9 is still 1/2" shorter. I plan to use the gun for pocket carry. For guys that have carried both a P9 and PM9 with a pearce extension, have you noticed a difference between the two (controllability, feel) ? What would you recommend? |

The p9 is a little hard to pocket carry with a proper pocket holster i prefer a iwb or a paddle holster it can be done easier in cargo pockets.
its not a good idea to carry any gun in your pocket without a holster that covers the trigger. |

what i did for my CM9 was get the pierce extensions and sand them down so that my pinky barely fits. still very easy to pocket carry in khaki work pants

I found this works almost as well as the Pearce mag extensions - P9 magazine baseplates sanded down to work in the PM9. Controllability is better than the stock flush baseplates, and just about as good as the longer Pearce extensions. I still only have room for 2 fingers on the grip, but the small lip on the extension keeps my fingers in place during recoil, and it is much more comfortable than the metal baseplates.

It took me a few range trips worth of practice so I could get to where I could shoot my PM9 like a full sized gun. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. Let that pinky hang.

I put the same plastic Kahr base plates on my 6 rnd mags for my CM9, it works very well for me.
