New gun needed - Page 1

Just sold my XDM 40 3.8 and now I need a new Springfield Armory. Going to be a 9mm and want to be able to ccw. Other than that looking for ideas. I also need a gun for my 13 year old daughter like a 9 also but in 1911 model. Totally lost I what I want besides a 9.

If you're close to an Academy, they should have a Springfield 1911 in 9x19mm.

(I might be making just above minimum wage @ such a store...

)

Check out the EMP in 9mm... it's a Springfield Armory 1911 style 9mm that's easy to carry. Also comes in .40, but I personally like the 9mm.

Did you not like the XD XDm line of pistols that you are switching to 1911?

If your not stuck on a 1911 for yourself, I love my XD Mod 2 in 45 acp but you can also get it in 9 and 40. Although i do hate that it says GRIPZONE down the grip on it but it is very comfortable to hold and carry IWB. So i probably wouldn't carry it if i was open carrying but thats just a personal qualm. With a 9 mm flush fit mag you will have 13+1.

I liked my springfield I had but was big and bulky wanting something smaller to ccw. I think I might buy a 2011 after I get my new conceal gun.

Lol nice. Yeah when i was searching for my shield in 9mm i almost bought the mod 2 9mm instead after holding it.

get a XDs 4.0, either 9mm or 45 acp
