Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Early 1990's Springfield Champion $500

So I have a chance to buy and old Springfield champion commander for $500 locally. It hasalot of wear but I like how it looks. Unknown round count. Its an old A1 type model. Is $500 a good deal on this?

$500 seems a bit high to me, particularly for a pistol that has a lot of wear.

I'd probably go $400, though.

You could probably have bought it new for $350 back then.  My 2006 vintage GI was bought new for $450.
