Anyone get the e-mail from Springfield about there XD Whole New Feeling? Sounds like a new design for there pistols?

I'm going to guess interchangeable back and side plates for the grip like the VP9. I've always felt that the original XD grip was pretty comfortable as is though, but all I have are the original all XD models, I've never even picked up an XDm.

Interchangeable back straps would help them keep up with the market.
If it's a full redesign a lower bore height would likely make me buy another, it's really the only thing I can find to gripe about, oh and making them feed SWCs wouldn't hurt my feelers.

Hate the way the XD feels, but don't mind the XDM (my buddy has 2 of them), however the M&P feels the best in my hand (among the plastic fantastics), but will check out the new XD's whenever they hit the LGS.

I just wish they'd stop spamming me and get on with it. I've got XDs and XDMs and I like them all. The only different "feel" that I would be interested in is either a rubber-ribbed grip like the old Taurus 24/7 9mm had, or a wrap-around Pachmayr with finger grooves.

I really wish they wouldn't have molded the words "Grip Zone" into the grip. That's a huge turn-off.

I like Springfield just fine and I'll be interested in any new products but this teasing shit will turn me right off. It's condescensing at best. Just show us what you've got.

Think about how much easier this would be for new shooters if Springfield goes a step farther... 1. Put the pistol in your hand touching the Grip Zone 2. Hold it up and focus your eye on the Look Here Zone 3. Place your finger in the Squeeze Here Zone 4. Stay clear of the Bang Zone (or maybe the Don't Look Here Zone). And there 'ya go! I like Springfield so only teasing but I think the decision to mold that in was made in the Twilight Zone!

They literally took an Xd and XDM and combined them. They should have made a pistol with the XDm slide, XD grip and texture, and interchangeable backstraps. Even tho I am a proud XDM owner, SA screwed up buy making proprietary mags for the xd and XDm vs a common mag between the 2. And not offering a g19 sized gun.
