Just added a couple:

681 no dash

I'm really liking this one and I think I'm going to give it a go as a winter carry gun.

And this poor girl, CS-1 that's been rode hard and put away wet:

This one is going to be a project.

I found the 625-7 in a pawnshop and paid $800.00 for it.

Was this a good deal?

Yeah, I'd say that was a good deal

the green fiber optic dot was no good at the range* but there's promise here

very small groups are possible

My latest gun, a police trade-in S&W 37, the serial number of which dates it to 1967 or 68.

I wanted to take 'Rick' with me on a fishing trip to Florida last week...
The TSA wouldn't allow it...
they said FL was already over run with pythons right now!

I still have some work to do on 3 of these but they are now all 100% functional. The 2 -64's were broken trade-in guns with 4" barrels last week. Still not sure if I'm going to try and erase the scroll marks or just leave them be.

The second one came out better than the first, but I think I need a bit more practice before I start taking orders.

Great thread.  Some really nice pieces here.  Wish I got into revolvers much earlier in life.  Recently picked up my first.  Fun to shoot, easy to reload, the visual and mechanical steam-punk aspect of it I guess is very pleasing.  I'm inclined to trade-in an infrequently used semi-auto for one, but I've never had great success getting a decent return around here...  Just need to save up I guess

I just got done rehabbing an old M&P. I milled a slot and silver soldered the front sight.
Revolver had seen better days (‘49-‘52 manufacture)
Slabsided a barrel I had, checkered the back strap, new hammer, and some cerakote. All work done with hand tools and drill press. Need to install front plunger yet. Having trouble finding a pin that small.
Modern defensive revolver now.Attachment Attached File

Easy button might just be to buy one like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/265864896292

Looks like you are capable of making one if need be, but sometimes it's just not worth it. I'll take a look in my parts box when I get home, I may have an extra.
