I had picked up a $275 m64-5 2 years ago from some online store in GA. I'm glad I did. I wish I bought 5. Its for my son when he gets older. It's rough on the outside but smoooth on the inside after I polished all the moving parts.
I also cut half the hammer off and thinned out the trigger guard a bit. Attached File |

Wish I had bought a bunch back then , but who knew |

I’ve been carrying the PD (or was before getting COVID) while deer hunting in the cheap but adequate AIWB holster I found while I wait for a better replacement. It really carries nicely, I almost “forget it’s there.” I have a Lobo Gun Leather holster with the offset clip coming. With the significantly reduced overall package width, I think I’ll “forget it’s there.” The width reduction will be about 1/3” under the belt and 1/2” outside. Total width reduction about 1” when you add in my holster belt. Moving that lump off the cylinder should really make a difference. I’m going to have to take up reloading for the 38/357. I don’t like reloading but factory selections are not adequate at the moment and I don’t see that changing soon. In the meantime, I’m loading Buffalo Bore +P 158gr SWCHP GC. |

I've got an inch a half guard rail nut on a length of 550 cord. It's not whiz-bang tactical, but one smack in the grape and it's coloring books for Christmas.

Well done. Every once in awhile I get the urge to do that to my 629 V-Comp but quickly talk myself out of it. I'm getting the itch right now lol. My Blackhawk Bisley convertible is a candidate though. I don't know how it work on the rollmarked cylinder though. |
