From top to bottom....

Uberti in .357, Heritage in .22mag/lr, Rossi in .357, Bearcat in .22, Rossi in .38, NAA in .22mag/lr, SP101 in .357, NAA with folding grip in .22mag/lr

I used to have the same Uberti in .45LC but since I have these other .357/38 options and setup to reload for them it made more sense to get one in .357 so I sold off the .45LC.  I love loading up powder puff .38 cowboy action rounds and having a fun day at the range punching holes in paper bad guys lol. The SP101 is a main carry gun of mine.  Previous owner used it for the same purpose and had fluffed and buffed it. It is a nice shooting revolver in DA.  I have full faith in it for home/self defense.  God forbid I never actually need it for that purpose.  The Bearcat is from the 50-60s timeframe and has seen a very high round count.  We've shot the snot out of it since I acquired it.  Still going strong. The Heritage was a super cheap black friday special impulse buy one year and its surprised me.  We've also shot it alot too.  Makes for a cheap fun day at the range. I have the .22mag cylinder for it but rarely utilize it.  Its nice to have the option though.  The NAA mini magnums make great backup carry guns. I keep one setup for 22 mag and the other in long rifle.  I'm usually toting one in addition to whatever else I'm carrying that day.  The two Rossis I bought off a retired Security guard that used to be a Marine.  So he took exceptionally good care of them. They just suffer from some holster wear which is to be expected. He hardly shot them during his security career except when required by the state to qualify for his security license renewals so they are very low round count.  I paid next to nothing for the pair so I jumped at the chance to snag them.  They make for great range shooters and just to have other options in the safe.

Not as impressive as some of your wheel gun collections but I feel like I've got a good representation here of wheel guns in general.  I'm happy with them.

In the 27 years I’ve been buying guns I have only ever owned one revolver up until about three weeks ago. I got the bug for a 44 magnum to maybe try and hunt with and picked up a Taurus Raging Hunter. While I was getting it I saw the Heritage 22s so I got one of them for my son. Then I got the bug for a “real” single action and bought a 5.5” Cimarron Model P. Then picked up a 4.75” Great Western II. I’m now looking at getting a 7 1/2” one. I’ve been playing around making grips for them also. The one with the medallion came on the Model P and I made the Walnut one and the one on the gun is Cedar.

You definitely got the bug.  If that Heritage doesn’t work out, the Ruger Wrangler is another option, you can get one for $179 around here.

The first ~60 rounds have been GTG so far. Is there a history of trouble with them?

It's a Zamak frame, same as a HiPoint slide.  Don't dryfire em, safety on or off.  You'll either break the safety or peen the cylinder.  Quite reliable for a cheap revolver otherwise.  Have both the LR and WMR cylinders for mine, they're the older ones branded FIE.

Went to go pay my dealer a visit this morning. Look what followed me home:

Got it home and immediately noticed some fitment issues with the grip. They matched the profile of the gripframe perfectly, but did have some gaps and daylight between metal and wood when viewed from the back. Luckily these magna grips are very simple to fit for that. 30 min with some sandpaper and a flat table, good to go.

Think I'll call it Boomer.

Sold my Model 19-9 to pay for it. Definitely like this better. The N frame with 4" tapered barrel and magna grips just looks right. K frames just look oddly proportioned to me now.

I'm gonna go give it a good waxing now.

Nice 17.

How are Smolts made?  The Colt bbl shank is larger, & the threads milled down & it's rethreaded for the Smith frame?

Barrel is chopped in front of ejector slot, new shank is cut and threaded, then new ejector slot cut to match.

You should just throw those maple grips away and leave the Smith attached to them.  I'll send you my address for proper disposal.

The handiness of the Ruger SP101 in 9x19mm is growing on me.  The ability to make safe w/ two quick movements, and make ready just as quickly makes for a very handy house gun w/ lots of dryfire practice.

The DA trigger is still fucking awful, however.

For $8.95 you might consider giving this a try.  https://shopwilsoncombat.com/Custom-Tune-Spring-Kit-Ruger-SP101/productinfo/349/

I've put the Wilson spring kits in my S&W J, K, L, and N frames and they made a WORLD of difference.

My latest revolver I picked up at a gun show last weekend. It is a Taurus 942 which is an 8-shot .22lr.

It makes my 32nd revolver overall, not counting Black Powder revolvers, and my 7th rimfire revolver.

@Minuteman556.  Unless that holster is pretty tight to the gun, I'm thinking a safety strap / hammer loop may not be a bad idea.  I could see you bending over and the Smith falling out.

After six years I finally got a grip screw for the OEM grips and added a BK Grips adapter.   One of my "Biden Gun Control" concealed carry weapons... Ruger Speed Six in .357 Magnum.  I helped my Mom pick this when she wanted a handgun for her & Dad to have after their farm shop was burgled while they were sleeping.  Dad was disabled at that point in time hence my Mom wanting something handy for SD. Attachment Attached File
I inherited it when she died.  It may not be my favorite handgun but is my most cherished handgun.  And, yes, those are Black Talons in the speedloader.
