Picked this one up on GB just short of two weeks ago. Finally was able to get from my FFL. The pics in sunlight made all the crud stand out but almost all of it wiped away. A little holster wear and freckling but overall in very good shape. The only negative was non-matching grips but the excellent condition of them balances that. Also gives me a reason to get some Culina targets made for it. A fitting older brother for my Model 18-3.

It helps to be debt free, and I put $200-300 a month into my slush fund. That way if I see something that I just really want I get it. When the slush fund gets low I will lay off for a while and let it build again. It takes a heck of a buy for me to put something on the CC these days. The last one was the decommissioned USMC M45A1, and I paid that one off in a couple months.

If this one is near as accurate as the 18-3 then I will be a happy camper.

Here is the pair of them.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have a couple of 1948 vintage K22's and both are capable of delivering far more accuracy than I can deliver.

Very nice!  I have a prewar K22 and an early '50s K38.  Both are on the "never sell" list!

I just inherited a circa 1954 4 screw K-22 Combat Masterpiece with original numbers matching grips. It puts five rounds into a quarter at 25 yards. It's nearly mint.
