I have a New Vaquero that has the factory brown wooden grips on it. I have always liked the look of stag grips on a SA and would really like to find a set.

Where can I look without spending enough to buy a whole new gun?

Haven't used them but I found the links above........
Many SA non Rugers require slight fitting of grips.  Good luck

I can't say enough good things about Patrick Grashorn.
He just did a matching set of elk S&W grips for me with exactly the amount of bark I wanted.

Both sites posted have some nice looking inventory. I'm beginning to see that I'm going to have to pay to play.

I bought these to put on my Flat Top Blackhawk but just never got around to it. They are Eagle Brand and are genuine Sambar stag, and I'm about 99% sure they'd fit a New Vaquero, but would need a little final fitting.

Let me know if you're interested.

Well I ended up going with fake jigged bone. Apparently I was looking for jigged bone and not stag. I was going for the '50's and '60's t.v. western look.

Go to eBay and search for "imitation jigged bone grips". It should be the first that that comes up.

They are made of Urethane. He makes a set for the new frame "New Vaquero, and also makes a set for the old frame "New Vaquero". He makes a set in all black too.

They are slightly wider than the the factory grips. The gun feels great in the hand and I actually shoot it better now.
