Hello All

Please recommend a small red dot sight to be mounted on a Ruger Redhawk 45lc. Would like to remove the rear sight and replace with the red dot.

Having recently gone through this myself...

If you want to get started without investing for the top of the line, the Burris Fastfire does the job.

I found Weigand mounts for the Blackhawk and got started.

There are many others, but the performance and price point of the Burris is hard to beat. Sure, I may go in for a Trijicon RMR or Leupold Delta Point later on, but for now the Fastfire fits the bill.

I found the Aimpoint H2 hit the sweet spot for me.

It rides on a S&W500 courtesy of an American Defense QD mount and a Wiegland rail.

BTW, the standard Aimpoint base on the 200185 kit doesn't have what it takes to hang on in this application.
