Local seller to me is selling a Dan Wesson 715, asking $750.   .357mag,  4" barrel. Cosmetic condition seems excellent. Haven't gotten to handle it yet to check function but assuming it's as good as the cosmetic condition, does $750 seem like a decent price?  Arms list prices seem all over the place.

I straight traded a 450$ guitar for a 15-2 with 6" and 4" barrels a few years back and felt I did well... obviously the stainless would be worth a bit more.

I think 750$ seems a bit steep, but that might just be me.

Seems a bit high to me. Have you checked gun broker history?
I bought a full set, unfired in the original case for just a little more

Dude is high as a kite if it only has one barrel.  I think I paid $650 for mine with three barrels.

Going rate for a (blued)  Model 15-2 around here is $400, +/- depending on whether it has the barrel tool.  I don't see the stainless 715 selling for a $250 premium.  $50 maybe.

The price of DW guns has gone up a lot as the new ones CZ is making are so high, but I would say that the price the seller wants is too high. Both my 715 and my 15-2 together didn't cost that much. I bought the 715 HV6 in 2006, in the box, with 3 grips, one of the crappy wrenches, some parts, the manual, and the receipt, for $269! I kept wondering why no one outbid me, you know, what was I missing? Apparently nothing, It's in near mint condition and shoots great. My 15-2 was $350, and is pretty close to mint too.

I would say $650 is about the top I would pay.
