Do you guys have any idea what the value of a 1985 Ruger speed six is? It's blued with a snub nose barrel and wood grips.

If it is in great shape it is worth no less than $400. You said snub nosed which should be a 2.75". If it is a 3" you really have something, but I have never seen proof of a blue 3" Speed Six. The only 3" guns were stainless. If it is an original 9mm SS it is probably worth double what a 38 or 357 is worth.

Thanks for the reply. It's a 357 magnum. I forgot to include that in my original post.

$400-500.

I really miss mine. It was in my car when it was stolen back in the '90s. Asshats shot my windows out after they took the mag wheels.

I paid $400 for my 1984 stainless steel Speed Six several months ago, but that reflects a good deal for a SS Speed Six.

It's my everyday carry in the summer where heat and sweat make my Model 13 a bit maintenance intensive.

Did you wind up getting it?

I have a stainless 4" .38spcl I converted to .357mag and enjoy it a great deal.

I would love another Security Six someday. Always wanted a Speed Six snub.
