Hi all,
My 686-6 came with those finger grooved rubber grips: 
My fingers are too fat to line up with the grooves. What would recommend for a 686-6? TIA |

Hogue makes that same grip without the finger grooves.

Try the Pachmyr Professional Grippers. They have small finger grooves and a open back strap. I searched a long time for comfort in a Model 14 and these grips were the ticket.

These still have the finger grooves, but they are a bit larger.
I bought these 25 years ago, but you can still find them. not sure if it helps any.

My hands aren't exactly small and I like the S&W Magna grips. I have them on all my K and N frames. The L frame 686 should use K frame grips.
